1. System Description:

According to the characteristics of S type rolling machine production line pressing roller and arrangement, thickness measurement system using eddy current sensor on upper and lower film on-line detection and hang glue flaps total thickness, to provide production, technology, quality products thickness measurement conditions, provide the basis for operating personnel to control the thickness of the product, ensure the quality level of the production of film.

The left and right two points are installed for the upper and lower film measurement, and the left, middle and right three points are installed for the total film thickness measurement. In order to ensure the measurement accuracy, a high precision reference roller should be added to the measuring area of the total thickness of the film.

2. Hardware selection and structure requirements:

The measuring system adopts imported high-precision eddy current sensor, and uses the adjustable counterweight on the bracket to make the roller always contact with the film on the surface of the calendering roller. Adjusting the counterweight can realize the close contact between the roller and the measured object, and ensure that the measured object does not produce deformation. When the roller position changes due to the roll distance adjustment in the production process, the sensor assembly automatically adjusts to ensure that the roller is always in close contact with the measured object, and the sensor output becomes linear output with the change of the measured object thickness. The thickness signal is processed by computer to display real-time measurement value and trend chart.

In order to ensure the accuracy and stability of the measurement, the following specific requirements are made for the installation bracket and structure:

The roller is made of 3Cr13 material to ensure that the material is worn and affected by adhesive. The overall width of the sensor is 120mm and the spacing is 80mm.

The beam strength of the mounting bracket ensures the installation accuracy and strength requirements;

In the design of the shaft length of the counterweight wheel, the factors of small installation position of the upper and lower film should be fully considered to ensure the installation size.

All mechanical structures, screws to prevent loose drop, so as not to cause damage to the calendering host;

The thickening and protection of the sensor data line ensures the long-term use of the field;

The diameter of the total thickness reference roller should be greater than 300mm to ensure the stability of measurement.
